Our story begins on my very first day on set as a TV Host / Designer on HGTV. I was so nervous, but excited to have this amazing opportunity to be on camera and to showcase my designs! Little did I know, I was going to meet the man I was going to marry.

Enter Michael, the Director of Photography, super nice and professional and made me feel at ease right away. We worked together for just 2 days and we didn’t see each other much…maybe briefly at a few work parties.

Fast forward to 4 years later. We both ended up at another industry event, not knowing that we would finally connect after all that time had passed. Both of us were single, ready to mingle and locked eyes as we were all about to leave for the after party. I remember that moment so clearly, literally bumping into each other and saying, what a blast from the past! How are you?

We ended up sitting next to each other at the restaurant and I was literally dying of laughter, and at that time I really needed a good laugh in my life. We had the best conversation, the flow was just so easy, and I will continue to say to everyone that he had me at “Ha Ha”…because that’s what I love to do. Laugh! You know that deep belly laugh that hurts but is so memorable. I wasn’t looking for a standup comedian, I wanted a partner in life who was strong, smart and supportive. Who would be my mirror, my mentor, my coach. And I found him. Lucky me. That’s how I feel everyday.

And for those around me, who I can help, to support and challenge and empower, I owe it all to my love, my husband Michael. Not only is he also an Aquarius (so we basically share the same mind but he’s wayyyy more techy). But we are a TEAM, we love helping people to see above and beyond; so they can discover their fullest potential!

And so our special blend of skills and passion, is what created “NuevaRosa”, translation from Spanish to English is “New Rose”.
So when you think about a Rose, think of it as an acronym for “Rate of Spatial Activation”.
